***NEW TAX DEDUCTION THAT CAN INCREASE YOUR REFUND OR LOWER TAX BILL***
Taxpayers who purchased a new vehicle with an auto loan in 2025 may be able to deduct up to $10,000 in interest paid, as long as the car was assembled in the U.S. and weighs under 14,000 pounds. The deduction phases out if the taxpayer’s MAGI exceeds $100,000 ($200,000 for joint filers) and disappears at $150,000 ($250,000 for joint filers). The new deduction is available whether the taxpayer itemizes or takes the standard deduction, but only for tax years 2025 through 2028.
Under the temporary "No Tax on Overtime" provision in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, eligible workers can deduct up to $12,500 ($25,000 for joint filers) of qualified overtime pay from their taxable income. This deduction applies specifically to the premium "half" portion of your time-and-a-half compensation.
Tipped workers in IRS-approved fields can deduct up to $25,000 of qualified tip income from their federal taxable income. This deduction phases out for single filers with a Modified Adjusted Gross Income (MAGI) over $150,000 (and over $300,000 for joint filers).
Once the required forms are filled out and the uploaded documents have been submitted, your tax return will be fully complete within 48 hours, depending on the complexity of your tax situation. You will receive your results in the mobile app or by email (depending upon your tax situation). If necessary we can schedule a call by video chat or phone call to go over your tax return.

Tax planning is creating a strategy before tax season to help you keep more of your money. Instead of reacting when it's time to file your taxes, we make financial decisions throughout the year that can reduce your tax bill, increase deductions and credits, and help you avoid costly surprises.
These tips are designed to help you better understand your taxes and finances, so you can stay ahead and avoid unnecessary stress.
Tip 1: Check Your IRS Account Balance Before Filing
Knowing your IRS account balance before filing your taxes is crucial. It helps your tax professional provide an accurate estimate for any potential payments or refunds and ensures you're fully informed about your standing with the IRS. This simple step can give you peace of mind and help prevent surprises later.
Tip 2: The IRS Tracks All Your Tax Documents
The IRS maintains detailed records of all your tax documents, including W-2s, 1099s, 1098s, 1095s, and more. They also track information about your credit cards, mortgage payments, student loans, and other financial data. Avoiding filing can lead to bigger problems—stay proactive, ensure everything is accurate, and keep your tax information up to date!
If you receive a tax notice from the state or IRS, you can rest assured that you'll have an experienced team on your side.
Exemptions:
Claimed Exempt? Here’s What You Need to Know
If you claimed exempt and now face a tax bill or low refund, it’s important to understand why.
TIP: Only file exempt if you truly qualify—filing incorrectly can lead to penalties. Self-employment or business income may help offset what you owe. Review your situation carefully to ensure accurate filing. Need guidance?
Unfiled Tax Returns:
Tax Evasion is Illegal
Filing your taxes is a legal obligation if your annual income exceeds the required threshold. Avoid unnecessary consequence
TIP: To prevent costly late filing penalties and accumulating interest, file your taxes promptly if you owe. If you're entitled to a refund, remember you have up to 3 years to claim it before it is forfeited.
Don’t delay, take action today to stay compliant and protect your financial future!
